Walk through description
This 1989 Toyota Winnebago Warrior motorhome has all working appliances and a comfortable interior. This RV has a great running V6 engine with 9,000 recent cross country miles. Early Toyota RV’s a smaller 4 cylinder engine and we’re happy this one has 6 cylinders for more power. We’ve used this RV to travel from the beaches of Florida, to the rolling mountains of Pennsylvania, over the Rocky Mountains, to beautiful National Parks in Utah, to the beach in San Diego, and to Arizona and Mexico. Included in the sale are are all accessories, pots, pans, utensils, silverware, plates, cups, clean towels and sheets so you can travel the day you pick it up.
Inside the camper it’s laid out perfectly for a couple or a family of four. There are two reclining front seats with headrests. The radio head unit is recently replaced with an FM/Bluetooth/AUX input radio so you can listen to your media on the go. The cab A/C compressor was replaced in September 2015 and recharged and blows cold air. Cruise control is installed but is not currently operational.
On entering through the door on the right side, over the cab is a nearly queen sized bed with removable section for access to the cab without having to exit the camper. There are two forward windows and two side opening windows. Above is a two speed, two direction ventilation fan above the bed.
On the left side of the coach there is a four person dinette table that easily transitions to a bed that could easily sleep two kids. Under the folded down dinette is room for storage of belongings. The interior cushions are in very good condition considering their age. Under the dinette seats are the potable water tank, wheel well and electrical charger and breakers. There is a 115VAC outlet under the table. The two large windows open and a shade can be drawn down for privacy or sun protection. A Jensen DVD player and radio with auxiliary and iPod input is mounted above the refrigerator. There is a standard definition drop down television to watch DVDs. Continuing toward the rear is the Norcold refrigerator. The fridge runs on either propane or shore power and features an adjustable thermostat. The refrigerator keeps food cold and has a freezer. Roomy cabinets line the ceiling for storage.
On the right side of the coach is a double sink with hot and cold water faucet. The window above the sink opens for ventilation. There are large cabinets above and below for storage. On the wall is a cork board we’ve used for photos. It covers an area where a wall light was installed. An additional TV was installed on the wall above the cork board and can easily be reinstalled. Continuing to the rear is a four burner propane stove with ventilation hood with a light. Throughout the coach is new blue carpet. On the back wall by the stove is a control panel for the tanks and battery monitor. The black and grey water monitors do not operate correctly, but the propane and battery monitors are accurate.
On the ceiling is an air conditioning unit that runs on shore power or a 3000 Watt Generator (not included).
At the rear of the coach is the bathroom. On one side is a shower stall with curtain, two direction ventilation and overhead lighting. The opposite side features additional lighting and a large closet with hanging storage. The toilet, garbage can and sink are in the center of the rear below a large window. Additional storage is below the sink. The window has a shade for privacy and is also an emergency exit. Above the sink is a mirror with additional stowage for toiletries. There is an accordion door for bathroom privacy.
Outside on the right side there are additional compartments. One houses the coach battery. Another locking compartment has leveling equipment including a jack handle, jack, jack stands and wood. A large electric awning unrolls to provide shade and rain protection. There is also an external power plugs. To the rear of the coach is a large locking storage box. The original supports rusted and were supplemented with stronger braces. The left side of the camper has a locking water tank fill, shore water connection, electrical 30 amp connection with household pigtail adapter. There is also a locking compartment that houses the waste hose, gloves and adapters.
Vehicle Condition
Please keep in mind that you are bidding on a used RV from 1989 with normal wear and usage. Overall this motorhome is good condition for its age, it is clean, and has been well maintained. The motorhome is trip ready and has travelled 9,000 miles in the past 4 months.
The engine starts easily and runs well. The transmission shifts smoothly and the engine doesn’t burn any oil. 3 of the tires are new as of September and the other 3 and spare are in good condition.
The condition of the interior is very good for the age. The upholstery, carpet, and surfaces are all in very good condition with no stains or rips. All functions of the interior work exactly like they should with exception of the grey and black water tank gages. The motorhome comes with the original Owners and Operational Manuals and manuals for installed equipment.
The exterior is in good condition. However, the striping and decals are showing age. Please see some of the close up pictures and you will see the areas of minor damage that have been repaired and sealed to keep water out. I consider this normal wear but I want this to be known to any bidder. The roof does not leak and there are no stains on the ceiling. This is a smoke free RV with no noticeable odors and has not had pets inside. The Roof and cab A/C work great! All of the coach systems have been recently used are all in working order; the fridge and freezer, water pump, hot water heater, interior lighting, propane burners all work great.
Prior to my purchase in June, 2015 I had the compression tested. Cylinder 1, 118; 2, 121; 3, 119; 4, 118; 5, 124; 6, 119. All readings are in PSI. The inspecting mechanic commented “Engine is in excellent condition and performs as it should.” Passed Pennsylvania inspection in June, 2015.
