Airborne was our old sailboat, a Catalina 27. We raced and cruised here in Puget Sound with friends from Milltown Sailing Association in our homeport of  Everett. She was a great starter boat and we traveled all over on weekend trips. Our crowning achievement on the boat was a 2 week cruise of Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands. We even took an international trip to Victoria, Canada and back. Natalie decided we should ship Airborne to San Diego when I got orders down there while we looked for a new boat. Little did we know that we’d spend September to May living aboard her while we found our new boat! Now she’s sold to a nice guy who’s homeporting her in Long Beach, CA.

A 27’ sailing sloop manufactured by Catalina Yachts, Inc., Woodland Hills, California. Hull, deck and cabin top are constructed modules of hand laid up fiberglass. All outfitting appears to be of good workmanship.
A manufactured model of standard design and construction, therefore no opinion will be given in this report as to design, scantlings, construction, workmanship or material choice, except as to state intended use, condition, additions, repairs or alterations as they vary from standard and no construction check list will be given.
House and hull interior (including under deck accommodations and/or other uses): From forward: Vee berth, aft to port a hanging locker, to stbd. the head. Aft the main cabin to port the galley, to stbd. a double settee converting to a berth. Port and stbd. aft and under are quarter berths.
